Abstract

Single valued neutrosophic set is a large set used to handle incomplete and ambiguous data. Also, single valued neutrosophic set is a subset of neutrosophic sets. Neutrosophic sets are also a more general framework of crisp, intuitionistic, pythagorean, q-rung orthopair sets. On the other hand, the high number of decision makers in decision making problems may cause the decision making process to be biased. In this study, the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) expands with neutrality aggregation operator in single valued neutrosophic set environment. The neutrality aggregation operator reduces the impact of the judgments of the bias of decision makers on attributes. In the study, the extended method applied on a real-life data set. In this example, an alternative and criteria-based comparison of airline companies is presented. The ratings of the decision makers are converted into neutrosophic environment according to linguistic variables, then Neutrosophic TOPSIS is implemented based on neutrality operator. In terms of validity of the study, it is compared with Promethee method, which is one of the basic methods and state of the art
