Abstract

At the end of this chapter $$\ldots $$ … $$\ldots $$ … the idea of a correlation will be familiar to you. $$\ldots $$ … you will be able to use the Pearson’s r as a measurement for interpreting the strength of a correlation. $$\ldots $$ … you will know when you need to use Spearman’s $$\rho $$ ρ or Kendall’s $$\tau $$ τ instead. $$\ldots $$ … you will have comprehended the principle of association with the help of the $$\chi ^2$$ χ 2 -test.
