Abstract

This chapter reviews the legal laws which directly or indirectly cover workplace bullying in the countries of Australia and New Zealand. Australia, despite lacking a comprehensive legal anti-bullying stature, protects employees from bullying and harassment under its varying labor laws. While New Zealand still needs to take adequate measures to safeguard the interests and rights of its employees while at work. Current legal laws only mention sexual harassment, employee safety, and health in the context of occupational hazards and harmful impacts of digital communications and social media.
