Quantum Mechanics on the Pointed Plane

Abstract

We investigate the quantum mechanical Hamiltonian on the pointed plane and compare the situations as they occur in Borel quantization and in the Aharonov Bohm effect. In the first part we will show that there exists — for a wide class of potentials -a family of extensions of the Hamiltonian that can be parameterized in dependence of a quantization parameter. In the second part we will investigate the dependence of the eigenvalues on the quantization mapping and self-adjoint extension for the example of a special potential.
