Abstract

One of the hardest aspects to learn about any new game (and especially open-world games) is the game mechanics, especially when first-level characters often perish the first time something challenging comes along, as do first-level companies. Many hack and slash their way around a game without understanding what the game really is and how it’s meant to be played. Some find their way to the end of the dungeon anyways—but many give up or perish in the process. Think of some of those mechanics, like creating character sheets for each of the party members or even a character sheet for the company itself, as founding the company.
