Abstract

This book showed the step-by-step approach to running many of the fundamental statistics, percentages, and analytics for a retail company. Using a data-driven approach to retail management in a systematic way with analytic and predictive methods will give you a deep and consistent understanding of the performance of your business so that you can optimize it. However, the overarching business questions—mission, vision, and values—must be thought out from the start of the development of the company’s products and services to be able to clearly identify what it stands for and how it stands out from the rest of its peers. This is imperative for the business to succeed in achieving its stated mission and goals. Of course, a company will always need to be aware of new trends and its competitors and evolve with new technologies, styles, and skills.
