Abstract

Standing between books and business needs comes the reality of implementing and creating data teams. In the real world, you have to handle egos, corporate politics, and the expectations staff may have in their first jobs outside of academic careers. This chapter looks at some of the challenges you have to face when building or expanding your big data efforts:
