Abstract

Mathematical modeling of DNA structure and dynamics is an important and promising part of modern bioscience. Nonlinear mathematical models of DNA dynamics are of most interest because they permit us to imitate large amplitudes internal motions such as local unwinding of the double helix or conformation transitions which play an important role in the functioning of the molecule.
