Abstract

Summary The academic use of computers and the rapid development of Computer Science programs have produced calls for the introduction of discrete mathematics into the undergraduate mathematics curriculum. The present article is intended as an overview of how discrete mathematical topics can be incorporated into the standard mathematics offerings in the two-year college curriculum.
