Abstract

Matthew T. Scholz graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He has a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota. He has been with 3M Health Care for 30 years, working in the Orthopedic Products Division and in Infection Prevention Research and Development. Scholz has been integrally involved with the introduction of numerous 3M Healthcare products, including: Scotchcast Plus casting tape Scotchcast splints and cast padding 3M Ioban EZ Incise Drape Avagard D instant hand antiseptic 3M Avagard Surgical and Healthcare Personnel Hand Antiseptic 3M Aseptex fluid-resistant molded surgical mask antifog/antireflective face shield masks 3M Skin and Nasal Antiseptic Scotch Blue painter’s tape with Edge-Lock
