Abstract

Identifying the processes of the enterprise is the first step to becoming process-centric. Dr. Michael Hammer insisted every enterprise, no matter how big, has seven to eight core processes. He was able to work with several companies to identify these processes. Following this approach, if we look at IT as a business (have you heard that before?), then we should be able to identify its seven to eight core processes.
