Abstract

After having analyzed separately in the two previous chapters the various theoretical and empirical aspects relating respectively to income inequality and economic growth, this Chapter is devoted to the study both theoretically and through the exam of empirical data, the complex relationships between these two phenomena. It also deals with some redistributive policy considerations that arise when studying them jointly.
