Abstract

This chapter examines the scenery of entrepreneurship education and the pivotal role of public policies in shaping its development. Entrepreneurship education aims to cultivate skills, knowledge, and mindsets essential for entrepreneurial success, extending beyond business creation to foster innovation, resilience, and social responsibility. Public policies significantly influence entrepreneurship education by guiding curriculum development, providing financial support, and fostering an entrepreneurial culture. This study focuses on European policies, highlighting initiatives such as the European Commission’s Entrepreneurship 2020 Action Plan and the Erasmus+ program. Through a detailed exploration of educational integration, practical experience, innovation encouragement, risk-taking promotion, and industry collaboration, this paper identifies effective strategies for fostering entrepreneurial talent. Systematic analysis of these policies underscores their impact, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with the dynamic economic contexts in EU Member States contexts.
