Abstract

An invention is not an innovation and no matter how exciting or promising an idea appears, it has no intrinsic value until it is transformed into an innovation. The transformation process adds value sometimes gradually sometimes in leaps and bounds. While in some cases, the transformation can be completed without support, in the vast majority of industrial technologies you’ll require the support and collaboration of industrial implementers or specialists. Guiding you through the stages and milestones along this transformation route are what this book is all about.
