Abstract

Many existing entrepreneurship research suggests that opportunity recognition, an (individual) entrepreneur, and cognitive and behavioral characteristics can all have an impact on business creation and the long-term viability of a business. Traditionally, the focus has been on individual entrepreneurs and enterprises rather than the contextual setting in which they interact. However, in today’s interconnected world, a wide range of entities are necessary to function successfully and sustainably. Therefore, this chapter is focusing on Entrepreneurial framework conditions (EFCs) role and status/gaps and its impact on entrepreneurship (in the context of Brazil).
