Abstract

We illustrate the student-centered teaching paradigm using a case study on the course development of digital media technology. The success key is fourfold. First, the teaching subjects and course objective should be determined. In light of this consideration, we can cipher out who are the users of our teaching. Second, a deliberated class design should be undertaken. Third, the practice activity system should be established. Finally, the evaluation metrics should be defined which are valuable to improve the future classes. The effectiveness of the paradigm is verified through evaluations.
