Abstract

The technological advancements of the twenty-first century have transformed the way we live and work and how we interact with each other and with private and government entities. Social and technological trends are increasing pressures on governments to provide better services, engage and collaborate with the public, and open and share government data and information to foster innovation in the public and the private sector. These same trends are transforming citizens into coproducers of information and government services.
