Model Generator for Water Distribution Systems

Abstract

In the last decades, several different research questions arose in the area of water distribution systems. To evaluate the new models, techniques and solution methods, there is need of a large range of test models. In most research work the evaluation is performed on simple generated networks with no realistic size and properties. In this work, we present a generator for water network models, which can be used for the evaluation of new models and solution methods. The generator can create network models with arbitrary size and realistic properties.
