Abstract

This chapter discusses traits of productive teams such as interdependency, trust, and communication. While these traits are productive and effective, it is important to curb negative behavioural challenges. Productive teams define critical goals, desirable attributes of team and its members and behavioural expectations by including performance guidelines. Team cohesion is especially crucial in global and virtual project teams. It is optimal for all team members to closely follow the guidelines and directives aimed at improving team effectiveness.
