Abstract

This chapter will introduce the various concepts of ethics before addressing: What does ethics mean? What are some common ethical issues that can occur in projects? What does a project manager need to know about ethics to promote ethical behaviour in projects? What does ethics mean in terms of managing interpersonal and interorganizational issues in projects? How can project managers utilize tools to enable to them to make ethical decisions? What is the role of the project manager to address societal and ecological expectations? How does the project manager balance behaviour control and outcome control to deal with ethical issues in projects?
