Abstract

An absolutely critical prerequisite for any merger and acquisition is risk assessment and due diligence protocols to first identify and then mitigate the key risks both for today and for tomorrow. There is tremendous business value for deploying analytics towards ensuring a seamless culture and structure integration apart from enabling the company to draw up a key risk mitigation strategy to address both present and future talent, operational and strategic risks. The success/failure of any M&A rests on the robustness of the due diligence and analytics protocols followed across the deal continuum.
