Abstract

This case explores the production process of the TV show Hua Qian Gu, based on an open internet media approach. It discusses how the show's development process broke through the boundary between organization and creation and initiated production with full audience participation. By analyzing Hua Qian Gu's process of making the audience a successful part of the show's development, readers can understand the application of the methodology of the Wuli-Shili-Renli(WSR) system in the process of vivid transformation. This case encourages readers to think in depth about social problems. It helps them understand better relevant theory and broadens their horizens, providing a reference for improving management ability. This case can be used for auxiliary learning of relevant chapters in “operation management”, “management”, and other courses.
