Case Study 3: Wi-Fi Global Rollout Project

Abstract

Rather than simply following the examples of the first two case studies associated with the overall Innovation Scorecard project in Red Hat, Brno, Czech Republic, we decided to apply a different approach to make for more interesting reading and to provide you with only the fundamental learning outcomes and different process approaches applied during Case Study 3—Global Wi-Fi Rollout. Therefore, the main attention is more on what is most important for you to know about rather than providing detailed accounts as we have done in the previous two case studies. It is for this reason that we will not bombard you with details of how we collected and analyzed all case study data. The approach has been bearing a close resemblance to that applied during the first two case studies so there is no justification for repeating the same process here.
