Abstract

Over the last 3 years a niche has emerged for Web-based tools to support innovation management processes. However, these tools usually focus on a limited part of the innovation management cycle. Moreover, in spite of the inherent portfolio nature of many decisions in innovation management, such tools tend to lack group decision support capabilities, except for simple mechanisms using discussion fora and voting systems. We describe a flexible framework based on collaborative decision analysis to support innovation management processes and outline a Web-based architecture implementing such framework.
