Abstract

This chapter concludes the book by providing an overview of the overall research work and enumerating recommendations based on the results obtained from the conducted studies. The book is conceptualized with the aim of examining the effectiveness of corporate governance monitoring mechanisms by focusing on their implications on major corporate financial decisions that have been shown to affect a firm’s value. Accordingly, the research objectives have been defined to explore the impact of corporate governance on select investment, capital structure, and dividend decisions. Besides the universal linkages, the contingent effects of corporate governance devices are also probed to determine their boundary conditions.
