Abstract

There are two mechanisms for promoting youth entrepreneurship in Africa as well. They are entrepreneurship education and financial and non-financial support systems for entrepreneurs. Universities and other higher educational institutes, even secondary schools and sometimes primary schools also teach entrepreneurship. In addition, governmental organizations, non-governmental organizations, and individuals also train and mentor youth entrepreneurs with incubators, accelerators and so on. Yet, youth entrepreneurs perform poorly. It implies that what they are delivered and the way they are delivered are not what their entrepreneurship journey requires. Hence, this chapter introduces an innovative new mechanism as the third mechanism to deliver what youth entrepreneurs need and how they must be delivered that is useful for their entrepreneurial journey.
