The Development of an eLearning Strategy at Klagenfurt University

Abstract

The following text uses the conceptual framework of “six organizational dimension for the use of ICTs” as an instrument to describe an institutional case study at Klagenfurt University. It shortly sketches the national context for eLearning initiatives in Austria and the definition of institutional case studies on organizational development in relation to the implementation of information and communication technologies at universities. The main part describes the author’s involvement in the process to develop an institutional eLearning strategy and to set up comprehensive eLearning project at Klagenfurt University.
