Abstract

The chapter emphasises that Sub-Saharan Africa's economies continue to develop within the framework of a mixed economy, combining the market sector with semi-natural farms. In conditions of insufficiently developed private national entrepreneurship, foreign capital continues to occupy important positions in the economy. At the same time, the regulatory role of the state in the economic development of the region is increasing. The gap between the countries of the region, especially in industry, infrastructure, and the social sphere, persists and increases in some indicators
