Abstract

This chapter examines the US economic system, the dynamics, proportions, and efficiency of economic development, and the state of business forms, human capital, and the country’s innovation potential. It analyzes the state and structure of the real sector of the economy, the state of the leading branches of the real sector, and the main components of the financial sector. The subject of the analysis is also the state of the country’s foreign economic sector. The US social sector is also considered, including the problem of living standards and income differentiation, the pension system, and the health insurance system.
