Abstract

Individual’s psychological ability to cope with a challenging situation is termed as the Psychological Capital (PLC). Its constituents are optimism, hope, self-efficacy, and resilience. PLC can aid in increasing the productivity and satisfaction of an individual. Entrepreneurial intention (ELI) is the readiness to take entrepreneurial action; to establish new business ventures; and to be self-employed. Perceived behaviour control (PBEC) is the individual perception the level of difficulty in showing a behaviour. This is attributed to experience and due to skills and resources. There are evidences indicating that PLC affects the intention formation. Several articles proved that PLC has positive relation with ELI. An entrepreneur’s psychic capital is important in entrepreneurship for the company to succeed. An empirical analysis of Psychological Capital on EI with the mediating effect of PBEC among management students in Kerala. 403 management students of Kerala were surveyed. It was also revealed that there is a positive relationship of PLC with ELI in Management students.
