Abstract

This study aims to explore the experience of green transformational leadership (GTL) in realizing a sustainable organization. The approach used is qualitative with a hermeneutic phenomenological technique that allows researchers to interpret the deep meaning of the subjective experiences of leaders and organizational members related to green values that are internalized and practiced in the daily life of the organization. Data were collected through a literature study based on selected scientific articles, and analyzed using thematic analysis. The results revealed that GTL dimensions (idealized influence, inspirational motuvation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration) contribute to the formation of green culture and support sustainable learning, green innovation, and team resilience. GTL not only leads to pro-environmental individual behavior change, but also strengthens collective social structures that are adaptive to sustainability challenges. The research concludes that GTL is a strategic element in organizational transformation towards sustainability, and its development still needs to be integrated.
