Abstract
This study aims to examine the strategy of strengthening multi-sector institutions in increasing global competitiveness through an integrative approach that includes the management, tourism, and education sectors. Institutions are understood as formal and informal structures and mechanisms that influence the effectiveness of governance, coordination between sectors, and the ability to adapt to global dynamics. This study uses a qualitative approach with case study methods and descriptive analysis, supported by primary and secondary data through interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results of the study indicate that cross-sector collaboration and harmonization of institutional policies are key to building sustainable global competitiveness. An effective strategy involves strengthening institutional capacity, implementing technology in governance, developing human resources, and integrating national development visions with international standards. The findings also emphasize the importance of institutional flexibility in responding to global challenges, such as technological change, economic crises, and social transformation. The conclusion of this study shows that institutional strengthening cannot be carried out sectorally alone, but must be based on an integrative approach that emphasizes synergy, transparency, and innovation between institutions. Strategic recommendations include the establishment of a national cross-sector coordination framework, increasing investment in institutional digital transformation, and strengthening the participation of non-government actors in the decision-making process.
