The Development of Street Vendor Businesses in Solok City

Abstract

This study aims to analyse and determine the effect of working capital, business hours, experience, and level of education to the income of street vendors (PKL) in Solok City. The sample of this research is the street vendors in Solok City which consists of 90 merchants. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The method of analysis is ordinary least square (OLS). The results showed that working capital, business hours, and experience significantly influence the income of street vendors in Solok City. However, the level of education has no significant effect on the income of PKL in Solok City.
