Abstract

This research endeavours to examine the impact of Halal Friendly Tourism Performance and Tourist Attractions on Loyalty, with Satisfaction serving as a mediating factor, among millennial tourists in Padang City. The study adopts a quantitative survey research approach, encompassing tourists who have explored various destinations within Padang City, specifically focusing on those designated as halal-friendly. The research population comprises individuals who have visited halal tourist destinations in Padang City, with a sample size of 430 millennial tourists. The data analysis methodology employed is Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS). The findings reveal that both halal-friendly tourism performance and tourist attraction, along with satisfaction, exert a substantial influence on tourist loyalty. Additionally, satisfaction emerges as a noteworthy mediating variable between the performance of halal-friendly tourism, tourist attraction, and the loyalty of tourists. Furthermore, the overarching objective of this study is to ascertain the magnitude of the impact of halal-friendly tourism performance and tourist attraction on influencing tourist loyalty during their visits. This is achieved by elevating satisfaction levels, thereby ensuring the stability and elevation of tourist loyalty.
