The Effectiveness of DPRD Supervision in the Implementation of Revenue Budget in Selayar Islands Regency

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the process of implementing the DPRD’s supervisory function in the implementation of Regional Regulations (Regional Regulations) on the Regional Budget and the obstacles in implementing the DPRD’s supervisory function in implementing Regional Regulations (Regional Regulations) in the Regional Government of Kep. Selayar. This research is a qualitative research that is normative and empirical in nature, where the method or method used in this research is to examine the function of Supervision of the Regional House of Representatives and the Implementation of the Revenue Budget in the Province of Kep. Selayar. The results of the study indicate that in general the implementation of the supervisory function carried out by members of the DPRD of Kep. Selayar has gone well to guard the aspirations of the community by routinely monitoring and field visits, input from the public. The recess activity is one of the efforts to reduce the obstacles that members of the DPRD of Kep. Selayar have in carrying out their supervisory functions. In this activity the legislature, the community and the government are brought together for deliberation and discussion to share activities that will be carried out or those that have been carried out by the government.
