Strategic Initiatives for Enhancing Profitability at BUP PT Biringkassi Port Indonesia

Study This aiming for know: 1) condition profit operations and levels profitability of BUP PT Pelabuhan Biringkassi Indonesia.; 2) internal and external factors that influence profit operations at BUP PT Pelabuhan Biringkassi Indonesia; 3) effective strategies for increase profit operations at BUP PT Pelabuhan Biringkassi Indonesia; 4) influence implementation of improvement strategies profit operation to improvement profitability company. Research This use type study qualitative with approach descriptive analytical. Object in study This is PT. Semen Tonasa, while subject in study This taken from PT. Semen Tonasa environment with using purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used in study this, among other interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. Data organization and analysis techniques in study This done with three stages, including data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research results This show that During period 2019–2023, BUP PT. Pelabuhan Biringkassi Indonesia experienced fluctuation significant performance. Although ROI and profit clean had time experience decline in a number of years, especially in 2021 and 2022, the company to record repair big in 2023, with increasing ROI drastic and profit net soaring. However, the company Still face challenge in reach optimal results, especially in matter high cost of capital, which keeps Residual Income negative. For overcome matter this, company recommended for focus on development products and improvements quality service services, which can increase satisfaction customers, loyalty, and efficiency operational, so that push growth greater profit and profitability good in the future.
