Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of good corporate governance on price to book value, the influence of good corporate governance on return on assets, the influence of return on assets on price to book value, the influence of good corporate governance on price to book value through return on assets. The data in this research is secondary data. This research is a type of quantitative research. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 25 statistical tools and also using the Sobel test calculator for mediation tests. The research results show that the good corporate governance (GCG) variable has no effect and is not significant on price to book value (PBV). The good corporate governance (GCG) variable has no effect on return on assets (ROA). The return on asset (ROA) variable influences the price to book value (PBV) variable. Return on assets (ROA) as an intervening variable is unable to mediate Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on price to book value (PBV).
