Abstract

Youth unemployment has become one of the main challenges for developing countries, including Indonesia. In a dynamic global economy era, the need to create a sustainable unemployment alleviation strategy is even more urgent. This article uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to identify and analyze various practical methods for reducing youth unemployment. This research highlights the importance of skills-based education, entrepreneurship programs, and private-sector involvement in creating job opportunities. The findings show that integrated solutions between the education, government, and industry sectors have great potential to increase employment among youth. In addition, the article also identifies several obstacles in the implementation of the strategy, including skills gaps and a lack of strong policy support. The conclusions of this study provide policy recommendations that can strengthen efforts to alleviate youth unemployment to support inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
