Abstract

Against the backdrop of global efforts to promote sustainable development, the development of urban green buildings is crucial as it is a key pathway for achieving urban sustainability goals. This study analyzed the factors influencing urban green building development. Through a comprehensive analysis of multi-dimensional factors, such as policies and regulations, economic costs, and technological levels, using methods such as literature research and case analysis, this study systematically explores the mechanisms of action of each factor. The study finds that comprehensive policies and regulations can provide strong guidance and support for the development of green buildings, reasonable economic incentives can effectively reduce the construction and operational costs of green buildings, enhancing the enthusiasm of market entities to participate, and advanced technological levels are the core driving force that pushes green buildings from concept to practice. Identifying these influencing factors aims to provide theoretical and practical guidance for formulating measures to promote the development of urban green buildings, helping cities steadily progress on the track of sustainable development and achieve harmonious coexistence of ecology, economy, and society.
