Abstract

As human civilization reaches the era of intelligence, the coupling of artificial intelligence with numerous sectors and fields opens new possibilities. In the development and building of smart cities, artificial intelligence can also empower them, helping to alleviate current difficulties and optimize various indicators. AI can assist planners with decision-making in the early phases of planning by offering predictive support. AI has the potential to make urban energy management more adaptable, dynamic, and individualized in cities by enhancing the effectiveness of urban transportation and resolving housing issues. However, there are issues and difficulties with using AI in smart cities as well. The accuracy and security of artificial intelligence are insufficient, which will bring frequent error difficulties and significant information exposure threats. However, the implementation of AI in smart cities is also beset by technological obstacles and a lack of skilled workers. Several government regulations must also assist artificial intelligence for it to be used more effectively in the design and development of smart cities.
