Research on the Efficiency of Forestry Ecological Economic Development in China

Abstract

The efficient development of forestry is one of the important measures to achieve sustainable ecological, economic and social development in China. In order to promote the development of forestry, the Chinese government’s investment in forestry has increased year by year. In this paper, the DEA evaluation model was used to calculate and analyze the input-output efficiency of forestry in China from 2012 to 2019. The results show that from 2012 to 2019, from the measured super-efficiency SBM efficiency value, the overall forestry ecological economic development in China is in good condition, and the national average efficiency fluctuates around 1. There are great differences in development in different regions. The overall forestry ecological and economic efficiency in China shows an upward trend.
