Abstract

Smart logistics has the characteristics of automation, intelligence, and efficiency, and is an important technical means for reducing costs, improving quality, and increasing efficiency in transportation logistics. In recent years, technologies such as big data, the Internet of Things, blockchain, and artificial intelligence have been rapidly updated in China’s transportation sector. However, their development is uneven, their application is insufficient, and information exchange is not smooth. There are problems such as insufficient breadth and depth in reducing costs and improving quality and efficiency in transportation and logistics. To further leverage the important role of smart logistics in promoting cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency enhancement in transportation logistics, it is necessary to continuously optimize the allocation of transportation smart logistics resource elements, accelerate the iteration and innovation of facility and equipment technology, improve the industry management system, promote balanced development, win economies of scale, and enhance development efficiency.
