Abstract

This study examines the influence of corporate social responsibility on employee creativity in the hospitality industry, considering employee engagement and job autonomy as mediating factors. Sample data of 449 employees working in 50 different deluxe category hotels in India were collected. Structural equation modeling and AMOS 26 were used to study hypothesized relationships. The findings underscore the significance of corporate social responsibility for enhancing employee creativity through their level of engagement. The study also shows how the degree of freedom accorded to the employees to perform their jobs impacts their creative skills. The findings of this study will aid hotel professionals and scholars in their quest to comprehend the relevance of corporate social responsibility in relation to employee creativity.
