Abstract

Using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2), this study investigates the factors that impact users desire to keep using e-wallets fund (Dana) service in Batam City. This study is a replica with differences in geographic, object, e-wallet specifications, and research time. E-wallets, as a means of electronic payment, have become popular amidst the COVID-19 pandemic due to their ability to minimize physical contact. This research involved 400 respondents in Batam City who used e-wallets Dana. The Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method technique was employed to analyze the data obtained from an online questionnaire, with the assistance of SmartPLS 3.0. The study’s findings indicate that four factors have no effect on be-havior intentions and six elements have an impact. According to this study, behavior intentions are significantly influenced by price value, trust, habit, social influence, performance anticipation, and effort expectancy. Concurrently, in Batam City, Riau Islands, factors that do not significantly in-fluence be-havior intentions for utilizing the Dana e-wallet application include facilitating conditions, perceived risk, hedonic motivation, and per-ceived COVID threat.
