Abstract

In the dynamic landscape of the pharmaceutical industry, knowledge management plays a pivotal role in shaping the organizational performance of companies. This paper explores the multifaceted relationship between knowledge management processes and innovation, highlighting their profound influence on the overall performance of pharmaceutical organizations. It delves into the intricate mechanisms through which knowledge is acquired, shared, and leveraged within these companies, fostering innovation, and ultimately driving enhanced performance. The research highlights how innovation is sparked by knowledge management, serving as a bridge between the wealth of information available in the industry and its transformation into novel drugs, therapies, and business strategies of selected pharma companies through knowledge management and innovation. This research study investigates the dynamic interplay between knowledge acquisition, dissemination, application, innovation, and organizational performance within selected pharmaceutical companies. In the context of the ever-evolving pharmaceutical industry, where scientific breakthroughs and novel therapies are paramount, the role of knowledge in encouraging innovation and, consequently, influencing organizational performance is of particular interest.
