Abstract
Economic behavior leads to the formation of an entrepreneurial spirit. In junior high school, economics is taught which is integrated with Social Sciences, so that it is thematic and can be the basis for the formation of the entrepreneurial spirit of a student. This study wants to describe whether thematic economics learning that is integrated with social studies learning can shape the economic behavior of students and grow their entrepreneurial spirit. This research was conducted on junior high school students in Banyuresmi District on 50 research samples. The results showed that the Social Studies (Economics) Thematic Study had a significant effect on the formation of students’ economic behavior as much as 62.3% and had an impact on the growth of the entrepreneurial spirit of students by 35.7%. This shows that the economic thematic content in the integrated social studies book has an influence on the behavior and entrepreneurial spirit of students, this must also be encouraged by the creativity of teachers in teaching thematic economics so that the entrepreneurial spirit of students will grow in the futures.
