Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in the financial performance of PT Krakatau Steel Tbk before and after restructuring. This type of research used is comparative quantitative. The population of this study are companies from the metal industry sub-sector and the like which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research sample consisted of 1 company selected through a purposive sampling technique. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of financial reports and articles on the internet. The variables used to measure differences in financial performance are Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Equity, Price Earning Ratio, Sales Growth, and Total Asset Turnover. The data analysis technique used is the Paired Sample Test. The results showed that there is a significant difference in the Total Asset Turnover variable, but there is no significant difference in the Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Equity, Price Earning Ratio, and Sales Growth variables.
