Abstract

Poverty is a condition where a person is unable to meet the needs of a decent life. This study aims to analyze the effect of the female human development index which is proxied by the average length of schooling, life expectancy, per capita spending and women’s involvement in parliament on poverty rates in the Province of Bali. The data analysis method used panel data regression and was processed with Eviews 10 software. Using the Random Effect Model, the results showed that only women’s per capita expenditure had an effect on poverty levels, while the average length of schooling, life expectancy and women’s involvement in parliament does not affect the level of poverty.
