Abstract

Since the epidemic, cross-border e-commerce has become an important engine to support “external circulation”. In 2021, China’s cross-border e-commerce maintained a good momentum of development, with a market size of 14.2 trillion yuan, and a year-on-year increase of 13.6% compared with 12.5 trillion yuan in 2020. Cross border e-commerce can reduce cross-border transaction costs, improve employee’s professional quality, strengthen consumer’s rights protection and enrich foreign trade service system. However, it is also difficult to ensure network security, increase logistics costs and may cause imbalance of export product structure. Based on the above analysis, this paper gives the optimization directions of China’s cross-border e-commerce, providing reference for relevant researchers.
