Abstract

With the rise of the e-service industry, online car-hailing has become very popular. This study investigates and comprehensively analyzes why Lyft is not on par with Uber in the US. Through the analysis of the past three years, that is, since the epidemic, compared with Uber, the shortcomings exposed by Lyft are not only the inevitable loopholes in the policy security currently existing in the car-hailing industry, but also in emergencies. The judgment is not decisive enough, and there is a problem with the allocation of personnel by the management. At the same time, some relevant suggestions are given to Lyft in the analysis sections and conclusion. This study provides the implication for investors and implied same industry.
